WE PRIDE THAT OUR ORIGINS IN RICE CULTIVATION GO BACK MORE THAN 2 CENTURIES
We are proud that our origins in rice cultivation go back more than 2 centuries to the year 1739 when our ancestors in the Lahore region of Pakistan started cultivating Basmati rice as a means of livelihood. Whatever RRM is today dates back to this time when our ancestors gave in their everything to make their dream a living reality. All of it started with a small move to overcome the challenge of growing crops in the barren land by working extensively on making the land fertile and preparing it for the rice crop. Our family had a vision in the making.
1868
OUR ANCESTORS MIGRATED TO RAMSOTARA (MULTAN), ON THE BANKS OF RIVER RAVI
After more than a century of successful rice cultivation, in 1868, our ancestors migrated to Ramsotara (Multan), on the banks of river Ravi, taking with them the expertise of rice cultivation—the thing that they learned throughout their life and worked hard for. Our ancestors swore by committing to bringing the finest quality and the largest produce of rice. It was not easy, they knew, and there too, they faced the similar challenges of barren land. With an undying spirit. they moved on and continued their practice of changing barren land into fertile land. They very well knew the art of rice cultivation. With this skill, they shifted to the region of Multan in Pakistan where they used their own tried and tested methods to boost the quantity as well as the quality of the produce.

OUR ANCESTRAL FAMILY RELOCATED TO THE PRESENT-DAY CITY TOHANA, HARYANA,
During Indo-Pak split in 1947, our ancestral family relocated to time present-day city Tohana, Haryana, India where they continued to do Basmati rice farming, in which they were experts. This is how the journey started in India and since then, everything seemed to work seamlessly. The motive for our family was to produce premium quality rice and that is exactly what attracted opportunities in the future. India turned out to be a gateway to a zillion opportunities for our family.

THE BEST QUALITY RICE LED TO ITS EVER-GROWING DEMAND
The uniqueness and forte in the ability to provide the best quality rice led to its ever-growing demand which gave way to trading the finest quality rice. Catering to this demand for our rice, our families continued to strive to inspire consumers around to enjoy the premium quality rice experience and we then started trading rice in the market.

THE YEAR WHEN RRM WAS FOUND
This is an important year to remember in the journey of RRM. It was this year when RRM was founded to flourish the mass with healthy rice grown with ancient quality cultivation methods coming from the roots of our ancestors & hard-earned skills of our great grandfather. The heritage of ancestral love for our soil kept us motivated to serve the finest quality rice to people since then.

A WORLD FULL OF FLAVOR
With our vision to create a world full of flavor, we knew that we had to go beyond our horizons. That is exactly when we decided upon opening another rice mill and by this year, it was up and functioning by 1990. This is the year that marked the expansion of our business model and gave us immense motivation to make something bigger of it by serving our community the best of the best quality rice.

CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGIES
With a rapidly changing landscape, we realized the need to revolutionize the way we had been functioning. We were 100% sure about the quality of rice we were producing but we felt that our model could be strengthened and positioned better with technological advancements in our processes which would ultimately only keep our consumers happy with an even finer quality of produce. We realized the need for cutting-edge technologies to get that finish to our products that our consumers longed for. Just within a decade, we familiarized ourselves with parboiling technology as well as Japanese technology for sorting.

SPREADING THE LOVE OF TASTE & GOODNESS OF HEALTH
In 2020 when the pandemic struck the world with health hazards, the love for people & willingness to protect humanity kept us running our production lines while following all COVID-19 protocols set by the Indian Government.

WE HAVE A CURRENT PRODUCTION CAPACITY OF 250 METRIC TONNES PER DAY
Since the year 2000. there has been no turning back. We have not looked back with regular technology upgrades and increasing sales networks. At RRM, We have a current production capacity of 250 metric tons per day and with an indigenous system, we have the capability of running 4 different varieties of rice simultaneously. We have been constantly implementing cutting-edge technologies at our facility to improve our produce and our efficiency. With more than 250, years in rice cultivation, 44* years in rice trading, and 35+ years in rice milling — RRM is amongst the very few companies that blend modern technology with traditions to produce the finest quality of rice in the most efficient way. We know that everything that we have done so far to uphold our family legacy is just the beginning of an even bigger and better future — and we will leave no stone unturned to deliver our consumers the best they deserve.
